On Reddit Alan found a new 3D printed robot actuator from Paul Gould. Alan decided to try it out. https://hackaday.com/2018/06/16/a-3d-printed-robot-actuator/ Alan purchased his parts from ebay and McMaster Carr. The project used brushless motors and 3D printed parts. He is using Fusion 360 as the design software. Possibly available in 2019. *Robot Showcase - at the Long Beach VA Hospital and the Boys and Girls Club of East Los Angeles. - Trish mentioned there are 5 teams registered and potentially more for the WRO event |
