11:00 Github Basics by Alan Timm.
Github.com allows you to publish your code and provide version control. You can create a free account to upload your code and keep track of your code. You can also get files from other repositories. For help: https://help.github.com/
There are lots of tutorials online and video his one gives you a quick overview of the terms used such as pull, fork, etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9qk-H0ih5M Here is another video with more in depth information https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MixBih-LOR4
11:57 Lunch
12:36 Budget report by Ron Rose: $872.93
12:44 Let's talk about contest. Contest and Classes are listed below.

1:00 Bob Barboza thanked Mitch for bringing his Wall-e robot to the Veterans Hospital in Long Beach, California to demonstrate and do a music show. If you would like to volunteer Bob is looking for all acts to be part of these exciting events. You can visit kidstalkradiola.com/ and contact Bob from his page.
1:08 Jim U. demonstrated his latest robot using neurons created by using simple electronics inspired by Mark Tilden's B.E.A.M robots. www.beam-online.com/ Jim also found some good articles that helped him with his project jwgoerlich.solarbotics.net/events/buildfests/2006-jun.htm

1:30 Tim Lewis demonstrated his 3D printed tentacle mechanism. Tim also discussed his experience in the movie industry. Tim also wants to build an Alexa and Arduino based bot. Some links to robots or MCU based projects using Alexa: www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYnQ7DLzWcU and www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5QEt-vX5Ng Raspberry Pi and Alexa www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXP_DZDefeA Another interesting one www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-tY-6Y0xzA
2:08 Hunter presented his 8th grade science fair project hunter.deepenigma.com/ EVOLVING NON-BIOLOGICAL ENTITIES VIA NATURAL SELECTION His experiments can be found here hunter.deepenigma.com/experiments/#experiments
2:18 Mitch goes to ATX Expo and demonstrates different industrial robots videos
2:23 Les - demonstrated how to use an inexpensive analog oscilloscope to read signals. He had an Arduino board to produce PWM and read those values on the scope. Arduino code and notes are shown below.
Files (Arduino Code) used on the Oscilloscope demo by Les.
Notes: Note that PORTD, not PORTC for the pins D0-D7, but D0 and D1 are used for the serial port, so I built 6 bit R2R networks for each
pins D2-D7 and D8-D13. I used a 5K pot, but the value is not too important (just >500 so you don't load the pin too much.) A cap across the switch will debounce it a bit, but it is not critical in this case, but it will skip a setting every once in a while. something like .01 would work well I think.
