11:00 AM Dr. Morales from CSULB Computer Science department presented on an open source swarm robotics system. He expects to have this completed in two or three years.

- Treasurer: we have $1,194 per Ron Rose
- David Cota will investigate prices on stickers, flyers so Walter can orders them. This was approved by the club. We are in need to more stickers, flyers for promotional purposes
- Elections: 2019 Team: Ben Partida- President, Jim Dinunzio. Vice President, Ron Rose Treasurer, Walter Martinez Secretary, Trish Tsoiasue, Community Outreach, Board Members Bob Barbosa, Thomas Messerschmidt, Alan Timm.
- Walter showed photos of the DTLA Library Maker Faire
- Trish - spoke about a Lego project that can be used as an outreach project.
- Bob Barbosa - talked about his projects with Cabo Verde and the Mars Society. There is a competition going on in The Mars Society where you can win money if you can figure out how to grow food on Mars

1:46 PM Talent Contest and Show-N-Tell
1. A differential drive robot by Jim Dinunzio. Jim uses an older version of the Lego Mindstorms robot and showed how to use it for the collect the can contest. Jim uses Robot C. and followed some ideas on odometry he found online. HIs robot did very well collecting the cans and bringing them to the original spot.
2. Mitch Anderson demonstrated his progress on the CRS robot arm. He is using Processing and vision to see a red object, collect the object and drop it on a container.
