​RSSC is an active hobby robotics club formed in 1989.
Our primary goal is to promote and advance the art of robotics and the surrounding technologies by providing a fun and exciting meeting place where people of all ages and from all walks of life, from the novice to the large-brained pocket-protector-wearing robot guru, may gather and exchange knowledge information and ideas.

90 minute deep dive! - It has been a *very* exciting couple of weeks in the Large Language Model space.  From leaked models to misappropriated chat logs we've seen Meta's Llama model grow from a curiosity to the lynchpin of a new generation of homegrown models with capabilities approaching ChatGPT.  Let's try to keep up with developments and follow the progress from Llama to Alpaca to Vicuna, what this means and what the immediate future may hold.

​Join us for Southern California’s largest festival of science and creativity!

On April 1st, City of STEM and LA Maker Faire will combine forces to create an interactive event designed to inspire Los Angeles’ next generation of scientific leaders, makers, and creative thinkers!

We will have science celebrities like Bill Nye, hundreds of experiences, including hands-on
activities, maker exhibitors, expert panels, LA’s leading thinkers, mainstage entertainment, workshops, special guests, and live demos!

​Event is free, for all ages, outdoor at Los Angeles State Historic Park. Event details available at CityofSTEM.org.
