2018 WRO Regional World Robot Olympiad competition at California State University, Long Beach ( CSULB.EDU ) in collaboration with the Robotics Society of Southern California. We had 200 people in this very successful event.

Thanks to RSSC members Patricia Tsoiasue and Walter Martinez for organizing and judging this very successful event. We even had several visiting teams from China and the rest from Southern California.
Robotics is a wonderful platform for learning 21st century skills. Solving robotic challenges encourages innovation and develops creativity and problem solving skills in students. Because robotics crosses multiple curricular subjects, students must learn and apply their knowledge of science, technology, engineering, math, and computer programming
WRO offers challenging competitions for everyone in the age from 6 – 25. This is a Lego Mindstorms robot challenges. They have four competition categories, with their own characteristics and challenges:
