Star War Reads Day - Riverside California - October 28th, 2017
RSSC is participated at the Star Wars Reads Day on Saturday October 28th, 2017 at the Riverside Woodcrest public library from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Come and visit some of our robots! See and participate in costume contests, virtual reality and Star Wars books read by customed Star Wars characters. Present were Thomas Messerschmid with one of his humanoid robots and Alan Timm with his robot InMoov robot Grey
The Woodcrest Library will be hosting its annual STAR WARS READS DAY and Riverside Robotics Society Robot Exhibit. There will be photo opportunities with movie-quality Star Wars costumers; Occulus Rift Virtual Reality gaming for those 13 years and above, and Maker in Motion kits and machines to try. Children's books will be read by costumed Star Wars characters, and everyone is invited to wear a costume to participate in the Costume Contests for prizes. This event is fun for the whole family!
